We have a motto at Herrick - 'Look Smart, Be Smart'.
Through this motto all staff and children work together to learn to respect each other, themselves and their surroundings.

As you are aware we have a school uniform comprising of –
  • Black or Jade sweatshirt / cardigan with school logo
  • Plain black or grey skirt or trousers
  • White polo or cotton shirt
  • Suitable plain black shoes
P.E. KIT – in a named drawstring bag
  • Black shorts White t-shirt Black plimsolls
Herrick Uniform does NOT include -
  • Coloured shoe laces
  • Nail varnish
  • Flowers/decorated headbands
  • Earrings
  • Trainers
  • Make up
In order that we can continue to work together to promote our motto we would ask that you ensure your child attends school in the correct uniform everyday.

Regarding the wearing of jewellery, the Governors of the school follow the LCC rulings for Health & Safety reasons.
No jewellery is to be worn during the school day. This includes earrings, necklaces & bracelets. If your child wears an item of jewellery for religious reasons it must be removed for swimming and P.E. If for any religious reason your child needs to wear any item please let us know the reason in writing in order that this can be considered.
