Year 5 sports leaders and red hats have had the opportunity to gain leadership training by Dan Hewins from the school sports game program. Here the children are carrying out a risk assessment of the playground/ area where they would set up equipment for the children at break and lunch times.

The children get trained in how to manage, the children outside when on duty, how to split them into teams efficiently and fairly, what activities would be suitable and how to run play smoothly.
